Without imposing any musical barriers, Paths to Deliverance merges violence, melancholy, horror, and melody into a deeply personal take on Black Metal.
The debut album, TEN, is both a sonic and conceptual exploration rooted in themes of horror and mysticism. Alternating between aggression and haunting melodies, the album captures the duality of human fears and aspirations, drawing inspiration from the works of horror masters like Edgar Allan Poe, Clive Barker, H.P. Lovecraft…, as well as Carl Jung’s psychological theories and the Tibetan Bardo.
Originally conceived as a solo project by A.S.A (Azziard, Alkhemia, ex-The Negation, ex-Redsphere), Paths to Deliverance has now evolved as a full and experimented band. Thanks to talented musicians, used to work and play together from Alkhemia, Azziard, Nydvind, Cave Growl, Skaphos..., Paths to Deliverance is planned on several gigs and festivals and is preparing the next act.
