“The End of Melancholy” is female fronted alternative | gothic metal band, founded in 2014 by Olly Lex and Andrew Petroff in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. The band have a new point of view on a modern gothic scene, combine in music powerful metal riffs with lyrical ballads. Fans from the US call the band’s style as “New European Metal”. Since 2015 “The End of Melancholy” had performed with such bands as Theatres des Vampires and Hanzel und Gretyl, released three music videos, EP, singles, and in the beginning of 2019 released a new album “Paradox Intention”. The band supported this release in two European tours (April-May and October 2019) and visited Poland, Lithuania, France, Czcech Perublic, Hungary, Belgium, Switzerland, Estonia. In November 2019 The End of Melancholy was chosen as the support band for Motionless in White (USA) in St.-Petersburg, Russia.
